Preparation
Ensure the surface to be painted is clean and free from dust and possible contaminants.
- On previously painted surfaces remove any loose or flaking material and sand the surface to provide a key.
- Remove any rust with an appropriate rust remover.
- Thoroughly clean to ensure the removal of grease and dirt
- Remove any oil or wax from the surface by sanding or using a suitable stripper
Application
We always recommend performing a test patch to ensure you are happy with the finished results. Apply only when the temperature is between 10-32°C.
- Only use in a well-ventilated space or outdoors.
- Shake the can vigorously for 1 minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle and continue to shake regularly during use.
- Hold approx 30cm from the surface and spray in a continuous back-and-forth motion.
- Slightly overlap each stroke.
- Apply several light coats a few minutes apart or recoat within 1 hour or after 24 hours.
